Gemswell is building a surf destination in Madrid, set to be the first in Spain and the largest in Europe, powered by Wavegarden technology. They needed to attract sponsors, partners and early audiences. The problem was timing. The project had to be sold long before it existed. We were asked to show the full experience, the lagoon, the surf school, the shops, the restaurants, the concerts, the atmosphere, while the site was still cranes and groundwork. Not a cold render. The real feeling of the place.
You cannot film what has not been built. The traditional answer is a CGI flythrough that looks like an architectural mockup, technically correct and emotionally dead. That gap, between a plan on paper and a place people can feel, is where most pre-construction projects lose momentum and money. The brief demanded photoreal footage of a location that exists only as blueprints. Every wave, every corner, every light had to match what the finished park will actually be. No invention. No artistic license. Total fidelity to a place nobody can photograph yet.
We solve production bottlenecks with engineering and execution. With no set to shoot, the source material became the architecture itself. We spent weeks studying Gemswell’s real blueprints, technical plans and renders, working directly with the project’s creators to understand every dimension and surface. From that real foundation we built the entire piece with the latest generative AI, frame by frame, controlling composition, light and motion to keep every shot faithful to the actual design. The result is not a fantasy. It is a real project, rendered before its time. The same craft we apply on a physical set, applied to a place that does not exist yet, grounded entirely in what is already decided and financed.
A two-minute film that lets you feel a destination still under construction. Gemswell can now sell the experience, not the promise, raising interest from sponsors and partners while the ground is still being broken. For us, it proves a new use of the technology: high-end, brand-safe visualization that turns blueprints into something people want to be part of, before the first stone is laid.
